Former St. Martin/Biloxi linebacker heading to LSU

Another big decision yesterday from a former St. Martin Yellow Jacket and Biloxi Indian as Donte Starks has committed to LSU.

According to ESPN, Starks is a four-star recruit, rating as the top linebacker in Louisiana. Starks held offers from 25 other division I schools including seven from the SEC.

He accompanied former St. Martin wide receiver Kalem Reddix and Mississippi State commit Brandon Cunningham on an unofficial visit to Alabama last month.

Starks will be a senior at John Ehret High School in Marrero, Louisiana.
