Kids Fun Friday at Bring Your Own Brush Studio

Thank goodness it’s Friday! Not just because of the weekend, the Bring Your Own Brush Studio in Ocean Springs had their Kids Fun Fridays event.

Every Friday from 3 to 6:30 kids have the opportunity to paint their own portraits.  The kids were very creative at the studio as they painted superheroes and their favorite flavors of ice cream.

Kids Fun Fridays is a perfect way to get children out of the house over the summer and express themselves. B.Y.O. Brush Studios Owner Julie Wilkerson said, “They love playing with different colors. We have pink alligators and all kinds of stuff come out of here. They really get into it. They take it seriously. I really like seeing their face like ‘wow, I really did this myself.’ I think they surprise themselves. I like it. I like seeing their faces and they get pretty into it.”

Reservations fill up fast at the studio. Twenty-five kids had the chance to paint within the time frame of the event.
