Statue donated to local church

A local man paired up with an artist to give back to an organization that does so much good for the community. Artist Dave Perez, was contacted by an anonymous person to carve an angel into an old oak tree and place it in front of the Nourishing Place in Gulfport.
The Nourishing Place is a non-profit organization that donates clothing and food to locals in need. They also hold church every Sunday morning. Pastor Jane Stanley says the community is thankful to have an angel watching over their church.
