Biloxi Shuckers vs. Mobile Baybears
For the Biloxi Shuckers, a big part of winning the Southern League South first half title was avoiding consecutive defeats. Their longest losing streak was just four games and they went 19-11 in games following a loss.
So how would the Shuckers respond tonight after giving up 9 unanswered runs in Thursday’s 9-4 loss to the Mobile Baybears?
Baybears win 9-5.
Biloxi Shuckers playoff ticket strips went on sale for all seven potential post-season games at MGM Park. They can be purchased at the front office or by calling 228-233-3465.
Second half standings and playoff success will determine the number of games, but the ticket package will guarantee two games minimum on September 5th and 6th with a built in refund for all home playoff games that go unplayed.
The Shuckers made a handful of roster moves today, all centered around the promotion of Quintin Torres-Costa to Triple A Colorado Springs for his debut with the Sky Sox.
Additionally, Miguel Sanchez is hitting the DL which has both Brad Kuntz and Josh Uhen coming off of the temporarily inactive disabled list to fill those roster spots.
