Charged in connection with Moss Point shooting

A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that sent a woman to the hospital yesterday in Moss Point.

Twenty-four year-old Korey Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, shooting into a dwelling, and domestic violence. Williams is being held at the Jackson County Jail under bonds totaling $101,000.

The shooting happened at about 1 p.m. yesterday on Cumberland Drive. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.
