Accident in Gulfport at the intersection of Hwy 49 and Hwy 90

Over in Gulfport around 6:30 a.m., traffic was slowed when an accident involving two SUVs and a truck took place at the intersection of Highway 90 and Highway 49 near 30^th Avenue.

First responders and police were on the scene in front of the Port of Gulfport. They shut down the westbound lane to traffic while the area was cleared.

There is no word on what caused the accident or if anyone involved sustained any injuries.
