Mississippi State alum underwent procedure to repair foot damage

Houston Texans third-round pick Martinas Rankin is recovering from foot surgery and is expected to be ready to go by the start of the season.

The Mississippi State alum and former MGCCC product underwent the procedure to repair damage suffered during a rookie mini-camp.

Rankin has yet to sign his contract, but is slated to do so once he passes his physical.
