Son charged in school counselor’s death

A Hattiesburg High School guidance counselor was found dead in her home and now authorities say her son, 29-year-old Terrell Johnson, is charged in her death.

Sherry Johnson was found brutally murdered in her home on Johnson Road Wednesday in Stone County. According to the Stone County Coroner, the school guidance counselor was found decapitated in her home.

Terrell Johnson is charged with first-degree murder. He is being held at the Harrison County Jail with no bond.
