Former Biloxi Mayor AJ Holloway Has Died

Former Biloxi Mayor AJ Holloway died early this morning at the age of 79. Holloway was elected as Mayor 5 times, serving from 1993 until 2015 when he stepped down from the office due to complications with his health. Holloway is credited for guiding Biloxi through a tremendous period of growth by successfully managing the city’s partnership with casinos and for being the face of recovery efforts in the wake of hurricane Katrina.  We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
