Biloxi Shuckers 2018 season: first pitch set for 6:35 at Montgomery

The fourth year of Biloxi Shuckers baseball has arrived as they hit the road for tonight’s season opener in Montgomery.

The Shuckers will take on the Biscuits at 6:35 p.m. for the first of a five game series, marking Biloxi’s first regular season contest in more than seven months.

The Shuckers won’t return to MGM Park for their home opener until Wednesday April 11th. Manager Mike Guerrero said, “Depending what I have that’s how I’ll try to play. I cannot run a Yugo like a Porsche, or vice versa. You’ve got to go with your skills, and we’ll try to play these guys to the best of their ability. But in reality we have to try to get the most out of every player so we get to know what they’re capable of doing.”
