Disturbance of the Peace, Failure to Comply Arrest – Father Jesus

On March 25, 2018 the Gulfport Police Department arrested 42 year old Father Jesus, of Gulfport, charging him with one count of Disturbance of the Peace and one count of Failure to Comply with the Commands of Law Enforcement .
The arrest was the result of a patrol response on March 25, 2018 to a report of domestic dispute involving a man armed with a firearm. Responding Officers located a female who stated that Jesus had pointed a weapon at her. Officers made contact with Jesus at a residence located in the 3200 block of 11th Street. Jesus was located outside wearing a white robe, gold colored crown, and a plainly visible shoulder holster. Officers gave instructions to Jesus, which he failed to comply with. While Officers were attempting to investigate the complaint, Jesus used loud offensive language which was able to be heard by the public nearby. A 12 gauge flare gun was recovered along with flares. Jesus was placed under arrest and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. There were no injuries reported.
