New Candidate Enters Race for District 2 Supervisor

Friday, a new candidate for the Harrison County District 2 Supervisor threw their hat into the race.

In front of family, friends, and supporters, Angel Middleton announced her candidacy for the vacant seat, which was previously held by Kim Savant, who resigned before he was federally charged with bribery. Middleton is a local business owner and mother of one.

Middleton says, “I was raised by godly, Christian parents and they instilled in me the ethics and the morals that I think are needed right now. It’s a sacrifice for me to change my life to do this, but I’m just ready for a change. I think we need some new folks and some business minds and I think that’s what I bring to the table.”

Middleton is the sixth candidate to enter the race for this seat.
