Registration open for Camp Aqua at the Mississippi Aquarium
Life is better under the sea at Camp Aqua. Registration is still open for the Mississippi Aquarium’s Camp Aqua Spring Days.
Single day-long sessions are scheduled for March 25th, April 15th, and April 22nd, all Fridays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Spots are still available, but availability is limited. This marks the first spring session for Camp Aqua and Camp Director Elizabeth Whigham says they’ve got plenty of fun behind-the-scenes activities planned for little explorers. “Our morning is going to start over at Gulfport beach where our campers will begin fishing. We’re going to learn about Mississippi fishing regulations, how to be a responsible angler- what happens when you catch a fish- when you can or can’t keep it, size regulations- things like that to help kids learn how to be responsible with their fishing. So, we’ll start over there and then we’ll come back to campus where we’ll get to meet a bunch of different animals and have some fun exclusive behind the scenes experiences.”
Registration and Camp Aqua information is available online.
