Two Local Churches Meet to Discuss Race Relations
After the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, race relations are a hot topic in today’s society.
In recognition of Black History Month, two prominent Bay St. Louis churches are coming together to openly talk about race. First Missionary Baptist Church, a predominately black church, and First Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis, a predominately white church, are hoping to better understand one another and eliminate biases during Thursday night’s open forum.
