Ocean Springs partners with company to verify auto insurance
Ocean Springs has partnered with a company to verify automobile insurance or pay fines if you do not.
Ocean Springs Police Department posted a notice on social media on Sunday to advise residents that if they receive an insurance citation via mail from courtstatus.com, it is not a scam and should be heeded.
Anyone who receives a citation can call Court Status at 601-790-7005 or the number on the citation to resolve the issue.
If you have proof of insurance, a customer representative can help you submit your insurance information. Otherwise, the representative can help with payment options or remind you about your rights to appear in court.
