3/13 – Rob’s Monday “Midday News” Afternoon Forecast

Spotty rain over the GOM has been moving north into the southern 6 since prior to sunrise. This has continues along with a cold front approaching from the NW. The entire region is under cloudy skies with rain developing through much of the area as the cold front develops and moves SE. Showers with a few embedded t-storms will affect the area this afternoon through early evening when the rain will depart east, with the clouds linger through tomorrow morning. As a good bit of COLD AIR is expected to move into the Gulf coast…Winter will make a final push this last week before the official start of Spring…temps Wed/Thur mornings will dip into the 30s. Temps will rebound St. Patrick’s Day into the final weekend of Winter.
