Cold Weather Shelters opening across the Coast
Cold weather shelters are opening this weekend to offer a warm place for those who need it.
Friday, Hancock County will open its shelter in the storm prep building at 6 p.m. The shelter will be open through Sunday night. Anyone who needs a ride should contact Hancock County Dispatch at 228-225-9191.
The Salvation Army will open its shelters on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. Those shelters are at St. Peters by the Sea on 15th Street in Gulfport and the Kenny Fournier Multipurpose Center in D’Iberville.
