Car Leaves Bridge In Bay St. Louis
And Saturday in Bay St. Louis, one woman was lucky to escape with minor injuries after driving off of a bridge, where her car became submerged.
This video from our media partners at the sun herald shows the accident that occurred around 7:30 am, when the woman lost control of her Nissan Pathfinder while traveling north on Highway 603.
The vehicle went through the protective siding on the bridge over Bayou Lacroix, but thankfully a witness jumped in to save the driver before the car could completely submerge.
Hancock County Sheriffs Office, the bay police department, DMR officials… And MDOT responded to the scene.
