Ocean Springs Man Kills Wife, Then Himself

On 17 February 2015, the Ocean Springs Police Department receieved a 911 call from 1402 Parktown Dr., Ocean Springs, MS, from a gentleman (Ronald Montecalvo, 1402 Parktown Dr., Ocean Springs, MS; dob: 7-14-1939) who stated that he had just shot his wife (Jesusa Montecalvo, 1402 Parktown Dr., Ocean Springs, MS; dob: 1-24-1940) and that he was going to shoot himself.

Patrol Officers arrived on scene and found Ronald Monteclavo sitting on the back porch with a gunshot wound to the head sitting in a chair. They were able to gain entry into the residence at 1402 Parktown Dr. and found Jesusa Montecalvo lying in her bed with a gunshot wound to her head.

A suicide note was found in the house that appeared to be written by Ronald Montecalvo of his intentions. Both individuals were deceased upon arrival of the Patrol Officers and Acadian EMS personnel. This case is still under investigation once completed, it will be sent to the Jackson County Grand Jury.
