Gemini tops off Mardi Gras with Gulfport night parade

The Krewe of Gemini will round out the Carnival season on Fat Tuesday with the final parade of the season.

And WXXV’s own Meggan Gray has been asked to serve as grand marshal of the Gemini’s Night Parade on Mardi Gras night.

The parade rolls through downtown Gulfport starting at 5:30 p.m.

Reigning this year for the Krewe of Gemini’s 53rd year are Queen Sandie Schlett and King Mike Schlett.

The parade begins on 19th Street, goes south on 25th Avenue, goes around around 27th Avenue to 13th Street before heading over to City Hall and then back to 25th Avenue and 19th Street.

So make plans to catch Meggan, the Krewe of Gemini and a few more beads before the Carnival season ends!
