2/28 – Rob Knight’s “Fat Tuesday” Forecast
With an area of higher-pressure to our SE, DENSE FOG this morning will lead to mostly cloudy skies through later afternoon with a little more in the way of sunshine. Ash Wednesday will bring DENSE morning FOG and WARMER TEMPS as a fast moving cold front moves into and through the area. Scattered showers/t-storms will be in the area midday through late evening as the front moves east. The SPC (Storm Prediction Center) has the area in a slight/marginal threat for a few storms to become SEVERE. everything will clear to the east by midnight with cooler/drier and sunny conditions into the 1st weekend of March.
