Biloxi Boat Show opens at Coast Convention Center

Soon enough Coasties will be heading out on the water on their boats and if you’re looking to pull the trigger and get your own here’s the perfect opportunity.

The Biloxi Boat Show returns to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center this weekend.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, organizers are thrilled to be back for the 65th annual Biloxi Boat Show.

There will be 15 dealers bringing in all new 2022 boat models with everything ranging from kayaks to your dream fishing boat.

If you’re looking into purchasing a new vessel, it’s a one-stop-shop so you can see everything at once and compare prices and features.

Like many other outdoor recreational activities, boating took off during the pandemic with dealers selling more boats than ever before.

This show will not only bring the boating community together, but provide an education experience for newcomers. Ocean Marine Group General Manager Chris Cason said, “It’s been pretty incredible. We just had our record number for 2022. In 23 years, we’ve never had anything like this.”

Boat Show Manager Melissa Miller said, “We’ve added a lot of new boaters this year. The excitement for boating came to a lot of new people that normally wouldn’t go out and boat. We have a lot of new programs available to those. So, if you’re looking for some information about where to fish or just have some questions about getting out in the water, some of the regulations. So, we have all the people here to answer those questions.”

Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for military, and it’s free for children 15 and under.
