Local vendors selling unique items monthly at Vintage Flamingo in Gulfport

Vintage Flamingo is an antique mall off Pass Road in Gulfport that houses 30 local vendors, but it’s only open for the next few days.

They’re only open four days out of the entire month, giving vendors time to find one-of-a-kind items to sell.

Every month they have a new theme and since Valentine’s Day is Monday, this month’s theme is ‘peace, love, and king cake.’

If you’re looking for a gift for a loved one or to spruce up your house for Mardi Gras, now is your chance. Vintage Flamingo Co-Owner Sharon Ladner said, “We offer a really eclectic version of everything, old and a few new things. If you’re not a designer, you can come in and look at how our vendors have it staged and do the same thing in your own home.”

Vintage Flamingo Co-Owner Michelle Jacobs said, “A lot of people are coming in, wanting a fresh look for the new year. So, they’re looking at maybe a new bedroom set or smaller décor. The 80s is really coming back so you see the burnt orange, browns, green, and floral designs. That’s the 80s.”

They’re open the second Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of every month. Sunday is the sale day where you can snag great bargains from vendors.
