MSDH reports 1,661 new COVID-19 cases and 53 deaths statewide

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 1,661 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 53 deaths.

Thirty-eight deaths occurred between December 25, 2021 and February 9, and fifteen additional deaths occurred between January 21 and February 1, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 774,505, with 11,508 deaths.
