Qatar Representatives Tour Boys & Girls Club

Representatives from the Qatar military visited the Pass Christian Boys and Girls Club Monday.

In 2007, the country of Qatar donated $5 million to build a Boys and Girls Club center in Pass Christian, which was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This donation was a part of their Qatar Katrina Fund Project.

Monday, representatives were able to tour the facility and visit with some of its members for the first time since it was built. The representatives from Qatar also stuck around to answer any questions that the children of the Boys and Girls Club wanted to ask.
