Lovelace Drugstore Ceremony

The Lovelace Drugstore groundbreaking ceremony took place this afternoon in Ocean Springs.
The long-awaited move from Garden’s Pharmacy and Compounding to the 92-year-old space will take place this summer. Mayor Shea Dobson as well as others involved with this project attended the ceremony.
Alan Triplett tells News 25 it feels great to bring the piece of history back to the community. “It’s unreal to bring it back, almost the way it was 50 years ago, with all of the old fashioned sodas. I think it’s going to be great for the community, especially for downtown.”
Triplett plans to use the original soda fountains and old recipes that were used back then in the drugstore.
