Fifth annual Zebra Run right around the corner
The United MSD Foundation is getting ready to host the fifth annual Zebra Run for Rare Disease.
The run is the foundation’s longest running event. The nonprofit aims to use this event to raise money for MSD as well as raise awareness for the entire rare disease community.
Both the 5K and the one-mile fun run will be held on March 5th at Fort Maurepas at Front Beach in Ocean Springs.
Both in-person and virtual racing options will be available. Registration for the in-person race is $35 and $40 for the virtual race.
Registration will be available up to the day of the race. United MSD Foundation PR & Marketing Director Mary Douglas said, “The Gulf Coast community has been so extremely generous and supportive of this foundation from the very beginning. We have some amazing sponsors this year who have really stepped up and helped us grow this event and they have grown right alongside us since the foundation has grown.”
To register for the run, visit curemsd.org. Check in for the race is at 7:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9.
