High School Boys Basketball: Long Beach at West Harrison

On a day that’s all about love and romance, hugs and kisses, flowers and chocolate, bitter rivals squared off in their respective district tournaments to show how they really feel on this Valentine’s Day.
First up was West Harrison and Long Beach. Talk about evenly matched, the Bearcats won the first three matches this season by a combined 11 points. Tonight, it was the Hurricanes making up some lost ground.
The Hurricanes escape the Bearcats with a dramatic 55-49 victory.
West Harrison will host the region 8 title game on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
