7 Pascagoula High Football Players Sign to Colleges
Wednesday, high school football players around the nation chose which college they would attend during National Signing Day.
Locally, Pascagoula High School led the way in Mississippi with seven players signing their national letter of intent. Head Coach, Lewis Sims, says they are not starting a legacy, but are building on their rich football heritage.
Sims says, "We’re building on a legacy that was already established for many, many years. Pascagoula has been a hotbed for Division 1 athletes going back to the fathers of two of our recruits."
Coach Sims says while his players may be talented enough for the NFL, the important thing now is to work as hard in class as they do on the field.
