Clerk Stops Armed Robbery

A store clerk derails an overnight armed robbery attempt in Pascagoula.
Around 3 a.m. this morning, a white female walked into the EXXON Gas Station at the corner of Highway 90 and Market Street, pulled out a gun, and demanded money.
That’s when the clerk took the gun from the woman and then she left.
The clerk called police and shortly after officers found 21-year-old Kayla Hooker of Mobile nearby and arrested her.
