Boil Water Notice Lifted

Residents east of Highway 49 near Duckworth Road now have an all clear as the boil water notice is lifted.
The notice, which went into effect Tuesday, included Harrison Central High School, Grand Bear Golf Course and many subdivisions throughout the area.
The notice went into effect after a local contractor cut into a city water line to install a storm drain for a subdivision development.
Tests performed by the Gulfport Water Works Division indicated the water meets the standards of the safe drinking water law.
