Bills Regarding Abortion

A few bills regarding abortion are being discussed in Mississippi Senate Committees.
One bill would prohibit an abortion of a fetus with a detectable heartbeat except in a case of medical emergency.
That measure would also make it legal to revoke the licenses of doctors who perform abortions of a fetus with a detectable heartbeat.
Another bill in the senate seeks to prohibit the use of public funds for an abortion or for training to perform an abortion.
