MSDH reports 6,416 new cases of COVID-19 and 32 deaths statewide

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 6,416 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 32 deaths.

Ten of these deaths occurred between January 5 and February 2. An additional 22 deaths occurred between November 8, 2021 and January 27, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 744,023, with 11,202 deaths.
