Citizen Goals for President Trump

Although today is only his first day on the job, many citizens have a long list of expectations for President Donald Trump.
Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump made a lengthy list of promises he believed would help contribute to his goal to make America great again.
Now that he’s officially sworn in, many people question when or if he’ll follow through on many of the changes he proposed leading up to today’s inauguration. His platform highlighted changes to immigration, trade, taxes, and foreign policy.
Here is what Democrats and Republicans, Trump supporters and non-supporters along the Coast hope to see him accomplish over the next four years.
Jenny and Jason Head are Trump supporters. Jason said, “I hope he gets the oil rigs going again. I used to be an oil rig worker.”
Charles Plainer is a non-Trump supporter. He said, “And me myself, I’m in the shipbuilding district. I hope he puts jobs back out there for us. Right now, the shipbuilding industry is really hurting right now.”
During his inauguration speech, Trump vowed to create more jobs, stronger borders, and more opportunity for American people during his time as president.
He plans to use the presidential pen within the next few days to sign, in his words, ‘very meaningful’ documents.
