MLK Gulf Coast Classic: Gulfport vs. West Harrison

In the next game, host team Gulfport took on West Harrison in some girls action. The lady Admirals having won this match up by 31 in December.
Lady Admirals take this one 49-32, a good win for them and yet another special MLK tournament at Gulfport High.
Gulfport Girls Head Basketball Coach Donny Fuller said, “What went into a lot of it, there are MLK deals all over the state and we said ‘well, let’s us do something.’ Get people something to do after they go to the parade and participate in some of the MLK activities. Come out to Gulfport and see some good basketball. It’s such a holiday event and people like to go watch basketball.”
Next year, the classic will be held at Biloxi High School in a rotation format opposite that of the Shrimp Bowl in football.
