Jordan Turnipseed Crowned King at 6th Annual Mr. Debonair Scholarship Ball, Willie Gary Honored with Hero Award

Attorney Bethew (Bert) Jennings, III was the Achiever of the Year and Recording Artist DaMarcus Huges performed LEVEL which was specifically written for the ball. The 6th Annual Mr. Debonair Scholarship Ball took place December 30th,2016 7pm at St Paul United Methodist Church’s life center in Moss Point, Mississippi. The ball is sponsored by the Professional Achievers and The Moss Point Visionary Circle.The winner, Jordan Turnipseed, was crowned king. Recording artist DaMarcus Hughes performed. Achiever of the Year, attorney Bethew Jennings, III, was honored and the Hero Award went to Willie Gary, Jr., who saved his father’s life. Scholarships were given to the seniors and 20-percent of the tickets sold by the participants was returned as a cash prize. The annual ball takes place every year in December and the proceeds go to benefit the youth of Jackson County, and is sponsored and hosted by Moss Point Visionary Circle.
