MSDH reports 7,079 new cases of COVID-19 and eight deaths

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 7,079 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and eight deaths.

All eight deaths occurred between December 29 and January 5.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 579,773, with 10,511 deaths.
