AutoZone Liberty Bowl: Mississippi State vs. Texas Tech

Just last week, Mississippi State Head Football Coach Mike Leach filed a lawsuit against Texas Tech over money he claims his former school still owes him, more than a dozen years after he was fired as head coach in 2009.

The courts have already ruled against Leach on more than one occasion, but even if he can’t beat the Red Raiders in the court of law, maybe he can beat them on the football field.

The Bulldogs take on Texas Tech for the first time in 51 years in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

Texas Tech defeats the Bulldogs 34-7. SEC falling to 0-4 in bowl games.
