MSDH reports 740 new cases of COVID-19 AND 23 deaths statewide

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 740 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 23 deaths.

Eight of these deaths occurred between December 15 and December 20. An additional 15 deaths occurred between July 18 and December 14, identified from death certificate reports.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases is now 524,629, with 10,387 deaths.
