Local vendors gathered for Ocean Springs Yacht Club Holiday Bazaar

Local vendors got together over the weekend for a mini-market inside the Ocean Springs Yacht Club.

Handcrafted goods were available all day for those looking to get in some last-minute Christmas shopping. Hot chocolate, door prizes, and a Bloody Mary bar were among the amenities.

Right on the beach, the yacht club offers social opportunities, youth and adult sailing lessons, and a fleet of club boats.

Vendor Danielle Zwert tells News 25 that events like this gives artists and craftsmen exposure and keeps Ocean Springs money in Ocean Springs. “Event like this really builds that, and it builds the community at the yacht club and for Ocean Springs. Ocean Springs is a big art town. We have big events like Peter Anderson, and we have little events like this here. So, it does a lot for the community. My favorite part is to see other artists, and be able to kind of share and trade, like I get to buy from them and they get to buy from me, and it’s really great to support small businesses, one, and also my friends.”
