Infinity Science Center holding Science with Santa event

Santa Claus can do a lot of impressive things like flying across the world in one night and coming down the chimney with care, but did you know that Old St. Nick loves science too?

Infinity Science Center in Hancock County is hosting their annual Science with Santa this weekend. While there’s always something to explore at Infinity, this Saturday, several guests will set up stations showcasing winter-themed science experiments.

When you work up an appetite, head over to gingerbread engineering with Mrs. Claus for a little more learning and whole lot of fun. Infinity Science Center Educator Anne King said, “I encourage everybody to come out to Infinity Science Center. We always have really cool, fun things to do. Our Science with Santa big event has little extra features, some of those one-on-one demonstrations and experiments we wouldn’t normally have available. Last time we did it was right before we closed for COVID and we probably had about 350 to 450 people there.”

King says Science with Santa also provides teachers with a great opportunity to learn all about the science experiments so that they can teach their own students.
