Gulfport PD investigating shooting on Northward Drive

On December 7, 2021, at approximately 4:37 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to the 3000 block of Northward Drive in reference to a shooting.

Northward Drive is in the same neighborhood as West Elementary and Milner Stadium. It also is about a mile from Memorial Hospital at Gulfport.

While en route to the scene, it was discovered a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound had been taken to a local area hospital via private vehicle. The victim was listed in stable condition.
