Coast Christian Home Educators Association to host ‘Antshillvania’
This afternoon, students of the home school group Coast Christian Home Educators Association held a dress rehearsal for their upcoming play.
The play is titled ‘Antshillvania’ and it tells the Christian story of the prodigal son in an allegorical form. The play will be performed at the Crosspoint Church on Friday, November 19th at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 20th at 3 p.m.
The entry fee for the public is $5 for adults and $1 for children K through 12. The play will be directed by Sharon Wilcox, who has directed this play five times before. “The kids are dressed up as different types of creatures. We have ants, we have millipedes, we have worms, we have spiders, we have dragonflies. Anyway, they get to tell the songs and the catchy phrases in the dialogue.”
This will be Director Wilcox’s last time directing this play.
