News 25’s Lori Buhring helps Magic 93.7 flip to Christmas

Today the team at Magic 93.7 and News 25’s Lori Buhring got together to flip on Christmas music on their radio station and spread some holiday spirit.

Christmas classics such as ‘All I Want for Christmas is You’ and “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree’ will be spreading the joy every day and night until the clock strikes midnight on Christmas Day.

The team at iHeart Radio has been making the switch to Christmas music for about 20 years and WXXV is happy to be part of the fun.

Listeners look forward to this jolly switch each year. Walter Brown with Magic 93.7 said, “You know, it’s been a tough year and a half for us, not only with the pandemic, but just life in general. People have been asking about Christmas music for weeks now. They’re ready to hear it because it brings them a sense of comfort, a sense of peace. I mean for me in particular, it reminds me of when I was a kid.”

Christmas music began at 5 p.m. today with a countdown of the top ten Christmas songs of the year.
