Fatal wreck in D’Iberville

One person is dead following a two vehicle crash in D’Iberville late Tuesday night.
Just after 11 p.m., officers responded to the crash on Brodie Road at the intersection of Goodman Road. According to D’Iberville police, a vehicle was traveling west bound on Brodie Road when they struck another vehicle before hitting a utility pole. The driver who hit the pole was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was not injured.
Power in the area was down for several hours due to the crash. The crash is still under investigation.
