Gulfport man charged with murder in court today
In Jackson County today, Christopher Brown of Gulfport was in court, where he is charged with murder in the death of 36-year-old Nicholas Pittman.
Deputies found Pittman deceased at a home in the Latimer community Saturday, July 24th.
Sheriff Mike Ezell says Pittman went to the home to pick up his son, who lives there with his mother and Brown.
The two men argued and Brown allegedly shot Pittman.
After the murder, authorities briefly searched for Brown before he turned himself in.
