Llamapalooza set for October 16th in Biloxi

A new brewery in Biloxi will close down Bohn Street outside its entrance for a family friendly block party featuring local musicians and its own craft beer.

Fly Llama Brewing opened its doors amid the COVID-19 pandemic in January and has quickly set its sights on organizing its own mini-festival.

Staffers say the Brew House will be releasing several new craft beers that afternoon as patrons gather for music and good times.

Food trucks including True Wings, Coasty’s and Captain Coconuts are expected to set up for the event.

Owner David Reese said the festival will be free and open to the public. “Music all day long, till sundown, we’ve got great local food and artists, and we’re dropping a bunch of new beers that day so it’s going to be an awesome block party. We’re dropping a blueberry cheesecake sour, we’re dropping a Schwarzbier black lager, boogeyman black lager, we’re dropping our (Mexican) lager, and a bunch of other fun beers. We’re also dropping some NA options; we’re coming out with a non-alcoholic hop tea for the NA crowd. So, a bunch of exciting stuff happening.”

Llamapalooza begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and the brewery opens at noon.
