Authorities looking for man believed to have robbed Family Dollar in Carriere at gunpoint

CARRIERE, Miss. (WXXV) — The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help to identify an individual they say committed an armed robbery on Saturday.

Investigators say the incident happened at around 9:52 p.m. on Saturday, October 9 at the Family Dollar store located at 7352 Highway 11 in Carriere, Mississippi.

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department describes the suspect as a Black male, likely in his mid-20s or early 30s. They say the suspect entered the store and revealed a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the store on foot.
