Armed Robbery at Pass Road Gas Station

Another gas station falls victim to an armed robbery in Gulfport. This happened one week after the hold up of another nearby gas station. Gulfport police say the incidents are not related.
Last night at around 9:30 p.m., the Gulfport Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Chevron gas station on the corner of East Pass Road and Ford Street. Police say a male suspect entered the business wearing a black jacket and a mask, brandishing what appeared to be a large knife.
The suspect fled the business by unknown means after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
Sergeant Joshua Bromen with Gulfport PD said, “At this point in time, we are still chasing down some leads and looking at some other things. It doesn’t appear that this incident is related at all to the incident on Kelly. Maybe we’re chasing a lead and you saw a person going this direction and that’s the missing link we need, that’s the corner puzzle piece that we need to complete this case. If you do have any information on these cases or any case at all, we ask that you give us a call. You can remain anonymous.”
Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact the Gulfport Police Department at 228-868-5959 or call Crime Stoppers.
