Harrison County Courthouse Evacuated

The smell of smoke prompted an evacuation of the Harrison County Courthouse in Gulfport today.
The Gulfport Fire Department and Harrison County Fire Service responded to the call after someone smelled something burning near the courtroom area. The building was evacuated as a precaution, but Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan says they found no active fire, visible smoke or damage.
Everyone was able to return to the building when the all clear was given shortly after noon today.
